Welcome to St Anne's Nursery
Thank you for choosing St. Anne’s C.E. Primary School for your child's Nursery setting. We have prepared some information for you and your child so that you can become familiar with the adults who will be with them and with their new surroundings. We are very excited to welcome you and your family to our school community and we look forward to helping you support your child in the exciting times that lie ahead. I look forward to being able to welcome you to our school.
Hi, I am Mrs Strand and I am the nursery teacher. I look forward to getting to know you, playing with you and finding out about your interests and talents. We will have lots of fun finding ways to learn new things you have not learnt yet! I will always be there for you whenever you need me.
Hello everyone. My name is Mrs Cook and I am one of the teaching assistants in Nursery. I am looking forward to meeting you. I love joining in with your playing and learning and particularly enjoy walking in the orchard where we can sing our favourite nursery rhymes. I love to sing and play musical instruments and to love hearing children joining in. I also enjoy telling wonderful stories and talking about the things that make you happy.
Hello my name is Ms Piper. I'm one of the nursery teaching assistants. You will see me in nursery almost every day. You'll recognise me by my big smile! I love to sing, so maybe we can sing your favourite nursery rhyme together or read a book if you prefer. My favourite is The Gruffalo but we can choose one we both like I’m sure.
Hello. My name is Miss Reading and I am an apprentice teaching assistant in nursery. I like playing outside in the sand pit and the mud kitchen. I also enjoy making structures with the building blocks. I look forward to having a brilliant time with you!
I'm Mrs Davis and I have worked in Early Years for over 20 years. I am working at St Anne's Primary and Nursery as the Wrap Around Lead for Nursery and Reception and as a 1:1 teaching assistant. Children who attend wrap around are offered a calm and relaxing environment, with the opportunity to use school’s environment and resources to explore and create. I love to support the children and help them grow and reach their individual capabilities.
