St Anne’s is a school with a strong and progressive Christian identity in which the entire School Learning Community acknowledges and contributes positively to shared goals which focus collectively on high achievement. This results in pupils who can ultimately develop independent critical thinking and be able to have ownership of and manage their own learning.
Pupils leave the school with their own ‘Life Tool Kit,’ equipped to enable them to make a success of their future lives in society. They are able to continue to make positive steps forward in their learning and effective contributions to the community.
We also believe the ability to use ICT effectively is an essential life skill in modern society. As ICT is continually developing and new technologies emerging, we as a school will strive to give all pupils the skills needed to prepare them for the future. We appreciate the integral role that ICT can play in all aspects of our school’s life and the opportunities it can provide to enhance all pupils’ learning and achievement.
All members of the St. Anne’s Learning community have a significant and crucial contribution to make in ensuring the success of the school. This extends to the wider community of parents, governors, site partners and all local people who have contact with the work of the school. It is for this reason that all will have the opportunity to make a contribution to the formulation of the School Improvement Plan
